Our online orientation, designed specifically for HMS master's students, provides valuable information about resources available to you during your time as a student. The course is divided into five modules. You may start and stop the modules at any point and continue where you left off.
Accepted students will receive additional details via email.
Each spring, master’s students participate in the Master's Symposium. At the start of the second term, master’s students are asked to submit abstracts of their mentored research or capstone projects to their programs to be considered for presentation at the Symposium. All students are encouraged to participate; in some cases, programs require participation.
The president, provost, deans, faculty, families, friends, staff and alumni come together each year for a very special graduation event, celebrating the achievements of our graduates and confirming the conferral of their academic degrees. See the ceremony information page for dates, times and information about graduation ceremonies and celebrations for master's graduates.
Additional events can be found on program-specific pages and, for current students, in the master's programs newsletter. For inquiries, contact us at hms_masters_programs@hms.harvard.edu.
