The Student Development team provides Harvard Medical School Master’s programs with career services to allow students to reflect on their professional goals and prepare for their career after graduation.
Services include:
- Career counseling on career paths and advising on resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation
- Career-related workshops on topics such as:
- Goal setting
- Conducting the job search
- Preparing career tools such as resumes and cover letters
- Best practices for interviews
- Negotiation around job acceptance
- Information for international students
- Recruiting events in collaboration with other schools at Harvard
- Networking events in collaboration with other schools at Harvard
- Internship and job postings
- A curated and growing list of link to resources for asynchronous or self-guided career exploration
Students may access the on-site services during their time at the program. Alumni may access the career counseling, online workshops, and job board for up to three years after graduating from the program.
Career Navigator
The Career Navigator is a centralized professional development portal for Harvard bioscientists. It is a one-stop service center connecting bioscience master’s, doctoral, and professional students with resources, events, news, and providers promoting wellness, skills training, and professional development.
