Match Day
HMS Match Day takes place in March every year on campus where MD students celebrate where they will do their residency with their classmates, family, friends, faculty, and staff.
Match Day is an annual nationwide event coordinated by the National Resident Matching Program at which students learn which residency program they will be attending.
Match Day 2027 will take place on Friday, March 19, 2027.
2026 Match Results
Of the 156 graduating MD students at HMS:
- 147 matched to clinical training, internship, or residency programs at hospitals
- 3 matched in oral and maxillofacial surgery
- 6 are pursuing non-clinical positions
