Boston scientists develop analytics for stem cell engineering

Scientists at Boston Children’s Hospital, the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at
Harvard University and Boston University have developed a computer algorithm to test stem cells, a
breakthrough that has allowed scientists to regrow part of a colon in a mouse. George Daley, professor of biological chemistry and molecular pharmacology at Boston Children’s Hospital, is quoted.

In its first few years, national data shows Medicare Part D did help elderly Medicare beneficiaries make modest progress—they were better able to afford their medications and seniors were less likely to stop taking them for financial reasons.
