Incoming HMS and HSDM Students
Incoming first year students who are enrolling in a full-time degree program at the Harvard Medical School, the School of Dental Medicine, or the Division of Medical Sciences will receive a link to the StarRez housing portal from their admissions office in/around March. During mid-May room selection will open and housing contracts will be generated at that time. Those with a disability related need will be directed to their Office of Disability Services to complete the housing process. Incoming students admitted in May or later and current resident who miss the renewal deadline will be placed on a wait list, and rooms will be assigned as they become available.
Current Harvard Students
Students who are currently enrolled in a full-time degree program at the Harvard Medical School, the School of Dental Medicine, the Division of Medical Sciences, the T. H. Chan School of Public Health, or the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences may apply for housing within the StarRez housing portal. Due to the extended Harvard Medical School academic year, we do not accept summer-only reservations.
Incoming HMS Master's Program, HCSPH, and GSAS Students.
Students who will be entering as full-time degree candidates in a Master's program at the Harvard Medical School, as full-time degree candidates at the T.H. Chan Harvard School of Public Health (HCSPH), or as full-time degree candidates at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) are always welcome if space is available. Harvard students participating in any of the programs listed above may apply for housing in the portal after May 25.
