Is there a minimum GPA or GRE/MCAT score?
No, there is no set minimum GPA or GRE/MCAT score requirement to be considered.
Are there prerequisites I need to complete prior to applying?
In order to apply for the MMSc IMM program, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with a strong background in biology and have an interest in immunology, medicine, or biomedical research. The program is also open to individuals who already possess a medical degree, such as MD, DO, or MBBS, or to individuals who have a degree in a health professions-related field. There are no specific prerequisite courses required in order to apply, however, knowledge of cell biology and molecular biology would be helpful.
How should I submit my letters of recommendation?
You will be asked to provide contact information for your recommenders in the online application system. Your recommenders will receive an e-mail with instructions to upload their letters of recommendation. You will be able to track the status of each letter.
What is the cost of the program?
Please see the Immunology column in the Master’s Student Cost of Attendance Budget. These rates are subject to change each academic year.
Does the program provide any funding?
Unfortunately, the MMSc IMM program does not have any funding opportunities available at this time. When will I hear back with a decision about my completed application?
Completed applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, however, typically applicants will begin receiving decisions in April.
