Invest in the Future of Medicine
Within just five square miles lies the world’s largest concentration of biomedical research focused on understanding—and curing—the diseases and disorders that vex us most.
Whether you choose to direct your gift towards financial aid or provide discretionary funding, your contribution will play a crucial role in enabling HMS to pave the way toward a new era of possibilities in science and medicine.

Join Our Giving societies
Leadership
The Dean’s Council is our leadership annual giving society—composed of individuals who give $2,000 or more each fiscal year. Members of the Council provide vital funding that advances the dean’s plans and vision for the future of HMS.
Recent graduates can join with a gift of $250 (1–4 years out from graduation), $500 (5–9 years out), or $1,000 (10–14 years out).
Loyalty
The Federman Loyalty Circle honors our generous alumni who have made consecutive annual gifts of any size for five years or more. Named after Daniel D. Federman, AB ’49, MD ’53, the Carl W. Walter Distinguished Professor of Medicine and Medical Education and former dean for medical education, a beloved and devoted member of the HMS community for more than 60 years, it is fitting that members of this society are identified with such a dedicated physician, teacher, scholar, and role model.
Legacy
The Ezekiel Hersey Council (EHC) recognizes alumni and friends who have created a life income gift or included HMS in their estate plans. The Council is named for Dr. Ezekiel Hersey, the initial benefactor of the Medical School, whose bequest of £1,000 in late 1772 led to the School’s founding 10 years later.
