Motor Control

New tool reveals details about motor neuron circuitry in fruit flies

Researchers used a new microscopy technique to image more than 1,000 neurons involved in motor control in fruit flies. These neurons are innervate muscles and sensory organs in the legs (red, yellow, and green), neck (dark blue), wings (light blue), and halteres (purple).
