Applicants to the Master of Medical Sciences in Therapeutic Sciences program should have a strong interest in conducting bench-based research in biochemistry, biophysics, chemical biology, molecular and cell biology, assay development, high-throughput screening, and related areas, especially in the context of early drug discovery. In addition, some preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated research experience.

Prerequisites: Applicants must have received a bachelor’s degree from an accredited domestic or foreign institution by the time of program matriculation.

The following application materials will be required:

• Online application, which includes contact information, educational history, list of professional experiences, and unofficial transcripts.
• Curriculum vitae, an up-to-date summary of educational and professional history, technical and professional skills, awards, and any research/medical presentations, patents, and publications.
• Essay answers, brief responses to four questions providing the applicant the opportunity to express their motivations and suitability for the program.
• Two letters of recommendation, to be provided by referees via the online application system. Applicants should follow the instructions in the online application form to notify their referees.
• Transcript(s), to be uploaded while completing the online application; although unofficial transcripts are sufficient at the time of application, if accepted, official transcripts must be submitted prior to matriculation.
• TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test are required for applicants who received their undergraduate or graduate instruction in any language other than English. • Application Fee: All applicants to HMS Master’s Programs are required to pay a $100 application fee.
