Required Materials

• Online Application: The application will request information on the applicant's contact information, education, professional experience, and unofficial transcripts. The online application will include a place for recommenders to upload recommendation letters.
• Personal Statement: Your statement should be no more than three pages in length, describing your interest in the program and your qualifications.
• Curriculum Vitae
• Three letters of recommendation: Follow the instructions in the online application form to notify your referees. Your referees will upload their letters directly.
• Transcript(s): You will be asked to upload your (unofficial) transcripts while completing the online application. This is all that is required to be considered for the program. Please note that if accepted, Official transcripts must be submitted prior to matriculation.
• GRE or MCAT score: To send your official GRE scores directly to the program, use code 3812. MCAT scores can be submitted via email to mmsc_imm@hms.harvard.edu as a Printable Score Report, which includes a verification code to verify the report’s authenticity.
• TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test (required for applicants for whom English was not the medium of instruction for their undergraduate or graduate degree): Applicants must score a minimum of 103 (TOEFL iBT), 11 (TOEFL Essentials), 7.5 (IELTS), or 130 and satisfactory programmatic review of the writing and video samples (Duolingo English Test) to be considered for the program. To submit TOEFL scores, use code 3151: Harvard Medical School Graduate Education Master’s Programs.
• Application Fee: All applicants to HMS Master’s Programs are required to pay a $100 application fee.

All materials must be received, and the application fee must be paid by the posted deadline to be considered. Please note that applications are considered on a rolling basis, and admissions may close earlier than the posted deadlines if all spots are filled.
