Monitoring how cell receptors interact with nearby proteins
By joining forces and combining technologies in a new way, Harvard Medical School researchers have captured the first bird’s eye views of what happens at the molecular level when drugs, hormones and neurotransmitters activate certain kinds of cell receptors. Until now, scientists had been able to see only one part of the picture at a time.
