HMS professor awarded Congressional Gold Medal

Continuing coverage of Susumu Ito, the James Stillman Professor of Comparative Anatomy, Emeritus, who was honored last week with the Congressional Gold Medal for exemplary service during World War II,
along with other Japanese American soldiers of the 100th Infantry Battalion, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and the Military Intelligence Service. Morris J. Karnovsky, the Shattuck Professor of Pathological Anatomy, Emeritus, is quoted.
