A Joint Program of HMS and Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne

Grants are available through the generosity of the Bertarelli Foundation to support three-year collaborative research projects in neuroengineering, with a focus on novel approaches to understanding or treating sensory disorders.

To promote collaboration between U.S. and international scientists and between neuroscientists and engineers, each eligible project must be carried out jointly by groups at HMS and its partner institution, the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne.

Four to six projects will be funded, each in the range of $/CHF 400,000-700,000, with the total to be shared between HMS and EPFL. Application deadline is June 15; awards will be made in late summer.
