Services and Accommodations

Harvard Medical School is committed to the full participation of all students in its programs and activities. HMS is committed to providing support service and reasonable accommodations when requested by students who qualify for them. The Disability Services Office works with students, faculty, staff and administrators to provide the following accommodations and services in some of the following areas:

  • Testing accommodations, including on shelf exams
  • Support on requesting accommodations on the Step Exams
  • Classroom accommodations
  • Clerkship accommodations
  • Assistive technology
  • Housing accommodations
  • Food allergies/Dietary restrictions
  • General campus and programmatic accessibility
  • Consultation and referrals to receive disability evaluation and support services
