More than a year after the Boston Marathon bombings, charities and researchers are taking note of an increasingly noticeable aftereffect: a large group of civilians with blast-related ear injuries more commonly seen in the military. Problems range from dizziness to reduced hearing to tinnitus—a ringing or buzzing noise in one ear or both.
