Medical Education Reimagined: The Focus of IMPACT 2021

Now more than ever, the world needs innovative and forward-thinking approaches to medical education. IMPACT 2021 focused on transitions to online learning and hybrid delivery of medical education, as we lead our institutions to develop new paradigms for teaching, learning and clinical practice.in the post-pandemic world.   Themes included:

  • Leadership experiences in transitioning to, and incorporating, online learning
  • Innovative approaches to creating effective virtual learning experiences
  • Designing curricula responding to the changing delivery of healthcare
  • Faculty development for hybrid and online programs

The Symposium included interactive sessions and break out groups and a schedule designed to accommodate colleagues from around the world.  Each day will include 3-4 hours of virtual engagement.

  • Days 1, 3 and 5 were “Global” Days – with everyone together, from 7:00 –10:30 AM EST
  • Days 2 and 4 were “Regional” Days – Latin America, Canada, Europe and Africa from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST, and Asia and Australia from 7:00 – 10:00 PM EST
