HMS SOUTH AMERICA CLINICAL RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAM | SACRT
The Harvard Medical School South America Clinical Research Training Program's workshops provides clinicians and clinician scientists an intensive introduction to the methods and conduct of clinical research.
The workshop includes instruction by leading experts from Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, the Hospital do Coração and the University of Buenos Aires in the epidemiological and biostatistical methods used in observational and experimental clinical research. Workshop participants will learn to develop their skills and will understand how to analyze, interpret and present clinical data. The focus of the workshop will be on hands-on development and implementation of a research protocol, including review of different study designs, recruitment procedures, data collection, manuscript writing, and development of a protocol for an institutional review board submission.
