We are pleased to announce the call for Harvard Medical School’s 2017 Portugal Clinical Scholars Research Training (PTCSRT) Certificate Program.
Now in its sixth year, PTCSRT is a two-year certificate program intended for those who desire rigorous training in the methods and conduct of clinical research. The PTCSRT program is a collaboration between Harvard Medical School & Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT).
The PTCSRT program is fully supported by the Portuguese Government through FCT, and is free of charge - there is no tuition for accepted students. PTCSRT is intended for Portuguese medical residents and fellows, ideally linked to Portuguese institutions. The program is conducted exclusively in English.
The program curriculum includes seven intensive 2-day weekend workshops over the two years in Portugal, twice-weekly on-line recorded lectures, development and presentation of a Capstone research proposal, working in teams, and completion of all quizzes. All of these activities are supported by interactive webinars held by Harvard faculty.
Trainees who achieve the program objectives will be awarded a Certificate of Completion at the end of the program.
