The Ombudsperson can help explore concerns about

  • Career Management including performance,PPR, promotion, future prospects, departure
  • Work/Academic Environment including peer relationships, supervisor/ee relationships, leadership dysfunction, abrasive behavior, workload, group dynamics, unprofessional conduct
  • Research including authorship, proprietorship, conflict of interest, scientific misconduct
  • Fair Treatment including terms or conditions of employment or education, failure to follow policy or procedure, retaliation
  • Sexual Harassment including perceived or actual unwanted sexual behavior or language, inappropriate relationships
  • Discrimination including behavior or treatment regarding race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, age, veteran status, disability unrelated to job requirements, genetic information, military status or other related protected status
  • Other  including, safety, housing, ethical dilemmas not related to other issues, personal issues not occurring in the workplace, miscellaneous
