How will workshop sessions be structured?

An outline format is below. Structure may be altered during the course based on attendees’ feedback.

What is an example of CV workshop?

5-7 minutes: Discuss the model CV and highlight the important features.

45 minutes: Divide into groups of 6-8. Each attendee will be asked to present and critique each other, based on a defined set of criteria. Each group will prepare one or two points of discussion to present to the entire group. These may be challenges they have experienced or outstanding issues to be addressed.

10 minutes: As a full group, review the progress of each group and ask them to present one or two points on challenges they faced. These then form some of the issues to focus on in the subsequent workshop.

What does the cost of tuition include?

Tuition covers the cost of the program only. It does not include cost for travel, lodging, and meals.

What is the payment procedure? Can I pay in installments?

Payment is due in full when you register for the IPAM program.

Will there be a possibility of refund?

Once you are accepted in the program and after your payment is made, no refund is permitted unless the program is canceled.

Do I have to be a resident of the USA to participate?

No, you do not need to be a resident or citizen of the USA.

Will a translator be available if I do not speak English?

There will be no translators.  The program is in English and fluency in English is required to participate.
