WHO SHOULD APPLY TO GCSRT 2018-2019
This program is designed for clinicians working in clinical research at the faculty level (or equivalent). Candidates holding an MD, PhD, MBBS, DMD, DDS, PharmD, DNP, or an equivalent degree are eligible to apply.  The review committee will consider candidates with a Master’s degree for admission on a case by case basis.

GCSRT is truly a Global program: the previous cohort of students represented 44 countries from 7 Global Regions.  Past student participants included Chief Physicians, Directors, Fellows, Scientists, and Specialists. Most students have authored or contributed to research publications.  Clinicians, Residents, and Lecturers who demonstrated strong career interest in clinical research on their application materials were also admitted to the program.

ROLLING ADMISSIONS: GCSRT 2018-2019
Harvard Medical School Global and Continuing Education Programs admit students on a rolling admissions process - applications are reviewed as they are received.  Therefore, in order to increase the likelihood of admission to the program, it is recommended that students submit their application materials as early as possible.

Students can expect to hear a decision on their application within four to six weeks from the date all application materials were submitted.

The admissions committee reviews applications in the order they are submitted. Strong applicants will be mid-career clinical professionals who have authored or contributed to peer-reviewed research publications. However, applicants able to demonstrate a strong career interest in clinical research via their employment or professional interests will also be given full consideration.
