Program Overview

Clinical Scholars Research Training Program - United Kingdom is a 9 month certificate program designed for students wishing to develop a career in clinical research and for current practitioners wishing to augment their clinical research skills and knowledge.

Our blended approach to learning utilizes a combination of in-person workshops, online material, interactive webinars, and team-based projects. Targeted to those with some prior research experience, our curriculum covers subject matter: including epidemiology, biostatistics, ethics, clinical trials, genetic epidemiology, and scientific communication.   

The program brings together an elite group of students who will benefit from exposure to faculty who are world leaders in clinical research. Graduates of the CSRT-UK program will receive a Certificate of Completion from Harvard Medical School. 

At the completion of the program students will be able to:

Develop a detailed research question and hypothesis

► Analyze, interpret, and present clinical research data

► Develop professional collaborations and work successfully in teams

The program consists of 50 online lectures available 24/7, 10 live webinars, and two in-person workshops in the UK.

Who should apply?

Applicants for this program must have an MD, MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent degree; candidates who are specialist trainees are encouraged to apply, as well as established practitioners, physicians and clinicians interested in further developing their research skills and knowledge.
