Who or what motivates your work at HMS?
I am inspired every day by the community at HMS. This year I have embarked on new challenges and embraced myself for who I am. I work in the Van Vactor Lab, using fruit flies as a model organism to study neurodegenerative disorders. Every time I look at these flies under the microscope, I can't help but marvel at how cool these organisms are and how much biology we can learn from them.
What is your favorite way to relax, unwind, and recharge?
I am starting to enjoy biking in Boston and learning to love this city a little more every day.
