What did you originally want to be when you grew up?
Growing up, I wanted to be a diplomat. I love connection, conversation, learning languages, traveling, meeting new people, being introduced to new cultures and history, building bridges, and spreading peace. The most prominent Peruvian diplomat, Javier Perez de Cuellar, served as the United Nations Secretary in the ’80s when I happened to be coming of age. Undoubtedly, he exerted a significant influence, but there was also an inherent yearning for peace that manifested growing up amidst a society engulfed in civil turmoil.

What is your motto?
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

This quote evokes a sense of inspiration, hope, and determination in me. Those who have unwavering faith in the power and allure of their dreams are the ones who will shape and seize the future. It emphasizes the importance of optimism, belief in oneself, and the ability to envision a better tomorrow. It encourages individuals to embrace their aspirations, persevere through challenges, and work towards turning their dreams into reality.
