Beginning on Monday, October 20, the M2 Shuttle will be rerouted between the hours of 3-6 p.m., in response to rush hour traffic delays on the Fenway due to the closure of the Storrow Drive eastbound off-ramp across the Bowker Overpass.
Beginning with the 3:15 p.m. trip, the M2 will be rerouted through Kenmore Square via Longwood and Brookline Avenues. During these hours, the flag stops at Simmons College, the MFA and 80 the Fenway will not be serviced. The M2 will pick up passengers on the east side of Avenue Louis Pasteur, next to Vanderbilt Hall, directly across the street from the current bus shelter. Representatives from Paul Revere Transportation and MASCO will be stationed at Vanderbilt Hall next week to redirect passengers.
Regular service will resume after 6 p.m. on weeknights. M2 Saturday service will not be rerouted and will maintain the regular route throughout the day.
