Psychopathology and Introduction to Clinical Psychiatry
This course prepares students for the Core Clerkship in Psychiatry by introducing the concept of mental disorders and the skills needed to assess disturbances of thought, emotion and behavior. Students are expected to learn the characteristics, psychopathology, pathophysiology, and natural history of some of the psychiatric syndromes seen through the life cycle.
