About Us

The William B. Castle Society’s mission is to create a productive, fulfilling and engaging experience for students at Harvard Medical School. Castle staff and faculty work with students throughout their medical school career to provide the support, guidance and advising resources necessary to nurture the successful academic and professional development of students.

The Society also functions as a social center for its students and fosters relationship building, scholarly activity and on-going contact between students and faculty.

In addition, the Castle Society encourages, promotes and fosters the preparation of students for leadership roles in medicine through academic advising sessions and a series of enrichment programs that impact upon professionalism and patient care.

It is our commitment to guide students in their journeys to becoming physicians.
