How short, disrupted sleep increases risk of diabetes, obesity

A new study has found that disrupted sleep altered insulin levels and slowed metabolism, would could increase the risk of diabetes and obesity. Orfeu Buxton, HMS assistant professor of medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, led the research.
