July 30, 2010
Three members of the HMS Department of Neurobiology were granted Freudenberger research awards: Sandeep Datta, HMS assistant professor of neurobiology; Chenghua Gu, HMS assistant professor of neurobiology; and Bernardo Sabatini, HMS professor of neurobiology. The awards, funded by the Freudenberg family, longtime supporters of the HMS Department of Neurobiology, support research leading to the understanding, treatment and cure of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. Each researcher will receive $100,000 per year for two years.
