Shared Administrative Services Workstream

Initiative

Analyze (basic and social science) departmental administrative processes with a view to streamlining them whenever possible, and centralizing them where it makes sense.  Reduce duplication within the School, and where possible among HMS, HSPH and HSDM.

Anticipated outcomes: Simplify core administrative processes, eliminate redundancies where they exist, and reduce the need for repetitive and time-consuming tasks. 

Targeted Opportunity

Evaluate opportunities for consolidation and service level standardization/improvement across department structure for research departments; focus on financial and grants management opportunities
