Program Staff
Mark F. Cicchetti, Registered, Licensed Embalmer
Managing Director, Anatomical Gift Program
Mark has been working with the Anatomical Gift Program at Harvard Medical School since October, 2008. A 1993 graduate of the New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences at Mount Ida College, he brings almost 20 years experience as a funeral director and embalmer. Mark is responsible for operations of the Program, both internally and at the Program’s interface with faculty and students, and arranges for the final disposition of the donors according to their wishes.
Madelaine Claire Weiss, CLA, MSW, MBA
Associate Director, Anatomical Gift Program
Madelaine has been working with the Anatomical Gift Program at Harvard Medical School since May, 2000. She brings her experience as a certified laboratory assistant, medical social worker and healthcare business administrator to her work with the donors and their families, as well as to the overall operations of the Program. She is the community-wide liaison for the Program’s education and support initiatives.
Cedric L. Lodge
Morgue Manager, Anatomical Gift Program
Cedric has been with the Anatomical Gift Program at Harvard Medical School since the Fall of 1995. Cedric is currently working toward a degree in Funeral Services at the Funeral Institute of the Northeast. Cedric’s responsibilities include maintaining the anatomical morgue and teaching labs while working closely with the faculty and students.
