Susan E. Rapple
Susan E. Rapple leads the Office of Resource Development, which is responsible for engaging alumni and friends with the School and providing the Dean and faculty with the resources necessary to fuel their groundbreaking work to alleviate human suffering caused by disease.
Prior to joining HMS, Sue was Associate Vice President of Development at Dana–Farber Cancer Institute. She oversaw the Institute’s successful $1 billion fundraising campaign, the largest in its history, and managed the Annual Fund, Gift Planning, Operations, and Palm Beach Regional Office within the Division of Development and the Jimmy Fund.
A development professional since 1984, Sue served the Harvard School of Public Health for more than 10 years. She was the Director of Major Gifts, Senior Development Officer, and Major Gifts Officer during her tenure with HSPH. In addition, she served as the Director of Annual Giving at Dartmouth Medical School from 1989-1991 and Director of Development of The Cambridge School of Weston from 1984-1988. Sue received a B.S. in Finance from Babson College and holds an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
